Specialized staff, including telecommunications network field engineers, are familiar with the operation and capabilities of the equipment, demonstrate its use, integrate various types of equipment to satisfy customer requirements, develop and test prototype equipment with new components or technology, perform complex repairs when requested or assist personnel at distant locations to diagnose and repair equipment, and review equipment that is a candidate for end-of-life turn-in.
Develop a working relationship with Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) and other PFE team members ensuring enhanced cooperation and mutual support Initiate and participate in triage and post-incident meetings sharing knowledge with other engineers and efficiently resolving customer problems Assist in the delivery of supportability reviews to your customers.
Research and initiate procurement of bill of materials for schedule and unscheduled projects and failed field replaceable equipment. Initiate purchasing of equipment to maintain system and maintenance stock.
