This position will collaborate with a small, talented team of professionals to produce, analyze, and interpret key financial data and evaluate business processes to help properly position the company for changing market conditions and to support future growth.
In this role, you will research, interpret and apply authoritative accounting guidance for unusual transactions. Prepare memorandums to document appropriate accounting treatment for the transactions and communicate results to management.
This position oversees the banking, treasury, and cash management operations, as well as the interface and reconciliation to the state accounting system; and monitors and assures the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
The Director of Accounting is responsible responsible for corporate finance and GAAP reporting for the organization. Areas of responsibility include GAAP financial reporting, payroll taxation, collections, disbursements, internal and external audits, and cash flow.
