Develops and implements financial strategies and control systems for the operating unit. Directs and/or participates in the development of strategic, business, marketing, facility and capital plans for the operating unit.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) supervises the compilation and preparation of financial statements and reports, works with management to develop strategies for internal growth and effectively manages the companys revenues.
The CFO is responsible to the CEO for financial and fiduciary matters, as well as establishing company-wide financial and administrative objectives, policies, and procedures to ensure sound fiscal operations.
Participates as a member of the Campus Senior Management Team in the financial and functional decision making processes necessary for the successful attainment of the hospitals mission and/or strategic plan.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide insight to executive team on opportunities through deep analysis of sales and cost trend data; assist other functional heads with developing ROI analysis and templates for use in the field.
In this role, the selected candidate will oversee and support managers in the development and management of an end-to-end Record to Report process, including facilitating interfaces between various accounting systems, functional leadership teams, other accounting managers and directors, auditors, and executive leadership.
Prepare annual operating budget and participates in the annual strategic planning process which serves as a basis for the budget. Provides ongoing analysis of variances from budget and assists the CEO in implementing changes needed to achieve budget goals
