In this role, the selected candidate will coordinate appropriate care, encompassing various healthcare personnel (such as Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Home Health Aides and external providers).
The Registered Nurse (RN) on this Operating Room unit protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, and the alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response and through advocacy in the care of individuals and families.
In this role, you will prepare appropriate medical documentation on all patients, including any case conferences, patient contacts, medication order changes, re-certifications, progress updates, and care plan changes. Prepare visit/shift reports, updates/summarizes patient records, and confers with other health care disciplines in providing optimum patient care.
In this role, the selected candidate will be working in collaboration with a medical directing physician, and under established standards and guidelines of the Department of Anesthesiology, the successful candidates will provide anesthetic care for all types of patients and procedures.
