In this role, the selected candidate will write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform software development activities in support of the mission and business objectives; create and/or revise software programs as defined in approved specifications and designs.
The Software Developer participates in the development of software solutions that will meet all business requirements; the development effort includes designing and implementing modules to the system specifications, conducting unit testing, troubleshooting issues, and producing detailed proposals to resolve issues.
In this role, you will implement PeopleSoft v9.2 and requires an Application Developer 2 to work with NYSLRS implementation vendors and the Application Development team to manage and execute application development efforts.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
As a Software Engineer you will work closely with GE research teams and GE businesses to identify and implement new services and product opportunities in diverse areas by providing software design and development expertise.
In this role, the selected candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of the metadata and/or reporting components of the solution (building and/or modifying OBIEE 11G Repositories) including testing and deployment of the components.
