Will receive basic device concepts from Research and perform testing for integration into full technology solutions to satisfy the needs of our foundry customers. Will work closely with internal manufacturing facilities.
Design, execute, and analyze experiments to screen and optimize module unit process and equipment to meet technology (e.g., performance, yield, and reliability) and manufacturing (e.g., process stability, cost of ownership) targets.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to conduct equipment evaluations with major semiconductor vendors, define initial tooling needs for start-up, develop and/or optimize unit processes in order to meet the overall technology roadmap and device performance requirements for 14nm technology node and beyond.
Work with equipment, shift, manufacturing and integration teams to ensure production wafer quality (e.g. achieve Cp/Cpk targets, eliminate yield systematics and meet line/wafer yield targets) and on time delivery.
In this role, you will work closely with internal manufacturing facilities. Will design, execute, and analyze experiments aimed at the creation and optimization of leading-edge silicon transistor technology (28nm technology generation and beyond) within a development environment to include both physical and electrical data analysis, as well as extensive coordination with the joint technology development alliance integration, device, and unit process module groups.
Responsible for the testing, installing, configuring and maintaining AMHS software systems. Proactively monitor factory automation software systems, identify and communicate opportunities for improved system performance. Create automation recovery procedures and troubleshooting documentation.
