This role entails using EDA tools for digital and analog circuit designers in advanced technology nodes. It also entails using the design tools for gate/transistor level electrical circuit design and physical layout for ASIC and Foundry circuits, circuit design verification using circuit simulation tools, and electrical and physical rules generation.
Define soft interfaces which facilitate group code development while working independently within the planned architecture. Determine feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Lead/participate in specification, design, analysis and development of electronic circuits for microprocessor and/or embedded firmware based devices. Perform technical trade studies to determine feasibility of potential Digital Control approaches, and recommend alternative solutions.
Lead the engagement with Technology Development, Process Integration, Patterning, Metrology, Photolithograhy, Characterization, Data Preparation, Design Services, and Mask House teams, to generate specifications for optical and electrical designs as well as an overall frame structure.
Primary responsibility is the design of DC/DC and AC/DC high reliability power electronics in the 20W to 500W output power range for use in severe operating environments. Applications include aerospace flight control systems, engine control systems, flight deck, cabin systems and vehicle drive systems.
Analog Design Engineer with skills and experience in the design of analog circuits for control systems applications for Mil temp operating environments. Ability to design and analyze analog circuits for engine control, flight control and aircraft cabin/flight deck applications.
