The Application Performance Engineer is responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the entire application stack. He / She will analyze and monitor application and system logs using homegrown and commercial profiling tools (dynaTrace, JMeter, Splunk).
In this role, the selected candidate will work with customers and sales channel to define product or process application issues; set solution priorities in consultation with apps manager and market segment manager.
In this position, you will manage code repository by maintaining code repository in TFS, performs and administers database baseline, improves practices of branching and code merge, establishes process control points and configures TFS reporting suite to custom needs of development team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement by implementing incremental process changes that result in a better product and support experience for the customer; providing the Marketing department with input/feedback on Technical Bulletins & Presentations, Operation Manuals, Application Notes, and Web content; providing customer feedback to Marketing and Engineering as a member of product development and/or quality improvement teams.
