The Regional Sales Representative develops and executes the long-term strategy for the specifically assigned business and delivers volume, sales and profit commitments for each product line within the offering across selected channels of distribution.
In this role, the candidate will plan and schedule visits to existing accounts in assigned territory per timeframe set by the department; suggests products, and facilitates problems to be corrected; establishes and maintains rapport with accounts and client publishers in order to continue a positive business relationship for the department.
In this role, you will perform all field sales functions in an assigned territory including, solicit and secure orders from potential and current clients, communicate product information and features that will enhance clients knowledge, provide customer service as required, forecast future sales, prepare periodic reports as required.
This role will be responsible for a variety of functions to include lead generation and qualification for two lines of business via telephone; email, online; interface/manage the customers throughout the sales cycle; and develop and manage customer/vendor relationships.
