Manages and coordinates the (3) three phases of control and documentation performed by the qc specialists, testing laboratory personnel and any other inspection and testing personnel required by the contract.
Responsible for the overall food safety, defense program and oversight of the Quality Control, Sanitation, and Food Science functions as defined by the FDA. Develop and manage all quality and food safety processes, plant sanitation.
Monitor ongoing work activities with respect to compliance to contract documents and specifications and applies selected management software systems to track task execution, project schedule and budget.
Provide leadership to improve/maintain quality systems and a safe work environment. Communicate with customers, ensuring quality/safety requirements. Prepare quality manuals/plans and review manufacturing documents for products to ensure quality.
Work as part of a product development team in the definition of new project requirements. Supervise and mentor direct reports. Supervise direct reports to ensure quality manual and automated testing of products being developed.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of process control and quality management systems, as well as providing leadership to project teams to improve quality, cycle time, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
