As a Mission Assurance Engineer you will interface with Operations, Engineering, Program Managers, Supply Chain and Procurement on a daily basis writing inspection plans, writing up non-conformance, determining root cause and corrective actions, working with suppliers, and supplier audits.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and execute audit plans, audit checklists and audit reports to address manufacturing engineering per applicable industry standards, and/or New Entrant company standards.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with manufacturing personnel to solve production issues on highly automated processes using data based problem solving techniques.Learn and understand requirement to determine product impacts and recommend disposition of the parts.
Performs research, design, and development of commerical, military and medical products in areas related to piezoelectric transducers, acoustics, mechanical, electrical tuning, thermal, or heat transfer for production, transmission, measurement, and use in acoustic applications.
Develop basic engineering analysis to assist the Mechanical Integrity Specialists with risk based facility inspections, assist in the scheduling and oversight of the inspections, and the subsequent review of results.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
Develop mechanical designs for new and existing products by applying engineering and fabrication principals to industrial designs for the consumer market in accordance with business needs and the product road map.
This position will directly support this system by; modifying code to meet changing Federal and State regulatory requirements, performing emergency troubleshooting to restore failed processes both during regular business and after hours, provide end users with ad-hoc queries, and work closely with DOH staff members to design new functionality are required.
