As a Tool Design Engineer you will be responsible for the concept, design, fabrication drawings, inspection requirements, procurement requirements, verification requirements, and fabrication support for tooling and equipment for Aerospace applications.
Design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate the design solutions internally; collaborate well with other designers, developers and the product management team to identify areas to improve the user experience.
This position is for a Design/Verification Engineer to maintain and expand the companys area of expertise in fluid delivery and pumping technology in enteral and IV pumping applications. This person will be responsible for some design and testing pump systems in our pumping platforms in both Enteral and IV pumping applications.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the design of laminates, sandwich structures, and bonded and bolted assemblies. Skills should include relationally linked modeling, establishing datum schemes for assemblies, and performing tolerance stackup analysis.
Understand how to use low-fidelity and high-fidelity design artifacts properly to learn and to communicate to stakeholders. Understand the importance of visual consistency across products and customer touch points both in terms of branding and design patterns.
Build documentation and requirements-gathering process for all IT requests, and serve as the gateway through which all requests are made; develop internal checks and balances to ensure business requirements are fully developed and properly prioritized before submitting projects to the development teams.
Participate in usability studies on existing and new applications. Continuously provide usability design improvement recommendations based on industry best practices, observed user behavior and site/app analytics.
