In this role, you will be responsible for plan and administer prescribed skilled physical therapy treatment and training for patients suffering from various injuries, illnesses and functional disabilities to attain highest level of physical function.
In this role, you will evaluate and treats residents and patients with temporary or long term physical disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing by applying the therapeutic properties of exercise, heat, ultrasound, massage and other forms of treatment.
He/she has clinical and/or functional knowledge of the position for which they are accountable either directly or indirectly through delegation of tasks. Incumbent is accountable to the Administrative Team.
In this role, you will be responsible to serve as a patient advocate assuring the delivery of physical therapy meets legal, ethical and institutional standards while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and the organization.
A licensed professional who provides coordinated care to patients of all age groups. Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being. Plans, organizes, and conducts physical therapy treatment program based on the medical referral and their evaluation. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
The Physical Therapist assesses the need for, develops, and delivers physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation. The Physical Therapist identifies the need for and makes referral(s) to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of patients.
