This Sr. engineering position will be responsible for building and maintaining our business systems related to customer support, including 3rd party systems that support our global routing & channel management (voice, email, case, and workflow) on Avaya/Genesys.
. Performs systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.
The candidate must have 8 years of professional experience in missile guidance design and analysis, including architecture design and trade studies, requirements development, algorithm design and implementation and performance analysis.
The Systems Design Center within the System Design & Performance Directorate has systems design responsibility for programs in the following product lines: Naval and Area Mission Defense, Air Warfare Systems, Land Combat Systems and Air and Missile Defense Systems.
This position does require participation in a on-call rotation to support our business partners. The right candidate will have solid experience with Managed File Transfer applications, UNIX/Linux systems, a thorough understanding of TCP/IP networks, PKI, and must be security-minded.
The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for: leading the effort for system requirements development, requirement allocation and flow down, system design, system verification & validation and associated documentation.
Develop requirements and interfaces for systems, subsystems, and components that quantify the impact of the emerging technology on the system and enable trade studies, validation, verification, risk mitigation, and opportunity capture.
