Develop guidelines as to where different Systems Engineering tools may/should/must be used to support different phases of program execution (e.g., IPDS); Develop training and deployment plans for approved tools
Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of in process components and finished products; perform necessary in-house testing; inspect in-process manufacturing processes and product, release finished goods shipments to customers.
The Chemical Process Engineer will be responsible for process design, operations and change implementation. Have the capability to assess the potential of and implement process changes to improve process safety, reliability and efficiency, reduce cost and improve sustainability of operations.
The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment; has a strong analog/digital background. has the ability to investigate and validate new components such as power supplies. Has experience designing with FPGAs and microcontrollers.
Performs systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.
Provide guidance to Risk Management Teams during the creation of risk management files. Drive identification of electrical safety hazards and Causes as discussed in the relevant product safety standards.
Evaluate and improve manufacturing process control by applying knowledge of product and tooling/fixture design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; and soliciting feedback from operators.
