simple to intermediate accounting functions for specific facilities such as accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations and other accounting and or financial responsibilities.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for generating, reviewing and analyzing financial date against budgets. You will also maintain reports, perform general bookkeeping and billing activities, and prepare and enter Accounts Payable transactions.
In this role, you will prepare audited financial schedules for reconciling B/S accounts. The selected candidate will assist with ongoing account reconciliation and specific projects by reviewing and researching assigned accounts.
In this role, you will be responsible for all elements of Contract/Project Set-up, billing, receivables and closeouts.Assisting with internal controls audits, external annual financial statement audits and various Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and DCMA audits, etc.
In this role, the selected candidate will review Estimates at Completion (EACs) and ensure percentage-of-completion type contracts are booking fee appropriately per corporate policies; analyze fee variances, determine major drivers to fee fluctuations, and communicate variances to program teams on a periodic basis.
This candidate is responsible for coordinating efforts of internal process owners and subject matter expertise. He/she will develop contingency plans to eliminate obstacles to on-time and on-budget completion of the project.
In this role, the selected candidate will conduct accounting functions and provide analysis and recommendations under the direct supervision of the Director of Accounting; reconcile general ledger accounts monthly.
This position will maintain strict checks and balances to ensure that accounts are in balance and properly accounted for prior to closing. The position will also prepare, review, reconcile and analyze information supporting accounts and items contained in financial statements and budgets.
The Accountant should possess the skills to identify issues and resolve matter in a timely manner. The position will require the Accountant to reach out to our internal customers and work with others in the Accounting Department.
