In this role, you will be responsible for administering and/or providing staff oversight of emergency care, first aid and episodic treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses within standing orders.
The RN - nurse supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
Assists with planning development, implementation and monitoring of competencies programs for the development of the nursing staff and surgery competencies, evaluation and planning of departmental/unit activities, preparation and administration of the departmental or unit budget, compliance with all regulatory and other agency requirements, laws and statutes pertaining to the operation of the department. Complies with hospital policy and medical staff rules and regulations.
In this role, you will be responsible for Providing supervision to assigned staff members and to coordinate social services provided to transitional extended care, outpatient and as applicable, home and community based consumers.
