The RN - Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
In this role, the selected candidate will be utilizing a Recovery Based process that consist of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential.
Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications and promotes optimal level of health.
The RN role will perform nursing duties such as patient assessments, medication delivery, case management, lab evaluations, leadership and team building. Working with peers such as Patient Care Technicians, Social Worker, Dietitians, Physicians and other clinical staff.
In this position, you will oversee and provide primary care, including all clinical care, palliative care, and symptom control and identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients.
Manages a multi-disciplinary staff responsible for providing Psychiatric Social Work and Utilization Review services to Mental Health patients, and performs therapeutic services. Performs related duties as required.
