The Major Account Representative position generates new account revenue in new accounts and revenue growth in existing accounts utilizing a consultative selling approach in the sale of services to large, complex accounts. The MAR is responsible for prospecting and closing sales to new customers to achieve budgeted sales goals. The MAR develops and implements sound selling strategies that ensure revenue growth at target or greater profitability levels by selling to new customers only.

Generates new leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships. Focuses on goal achievement and is results driven.
Develop and maintain relationships with local electrical contractors, electrical engineers, telecommunications accounts, medical facilities, call centers, cities and municipalities, utility contractors and many other potential accounts.
In this role, you will develop and implement a proactive plan that involves service support with Region Manager and team members, to maintain market share and increase the quality of service to customers.
The successful candidate will help secure strategic engagements with a major Telecommunications client by leveraging existing Conduent client relationships and by developing new business through his/her existing network.
