The selected candidate will performs and assesses various quality diagnostic procedures, electrocardiograms, and respiratory care in accordance with the respiratory department policy and procedures manual, AARC clinical guidelines and hospital policy to elicit physiologic data of the cardio-pulmonary system. Implements protocols and managed care plans. Writes medical orders under medical direction.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the ventilators, pulmonary screen equipment, ABG machines, IPPB machines, non-invasive ventilatory equipment, safe handling of medical gas tanks and related equipment.
In this role, you will perform and instruct all respiratory care procedures in accordance with the departments policy and procedure manual, based on clinical practice guidelines from the american association for respiratory care and other clinical practice guidelines.
