The Continuous Improvement Engineer will create and coordinate the implementation of new or improved manufacturing processes. They will be responsible for various engineering assignments ranging from feasibility studies to the introduction of designs and drawings to Manufacturing.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting the ABS Manager, ABS Supervisor or Plant Leader in organization, planning, implementation and follow-through of continuous improvement initiatives established within the company's operating model: the Alcoa Business System (ABS).
In this role, the selected candidate will manage the design and the adaptations of the injection process, tooling and equipment to setup in the plants; participate to the product design during Phases 1, 2 and 3 for optimization in manufacturing and function.
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining stable and capable production/business processes as they pertain to equipment, facilities and tooling functionality following the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) model.
