The Tool and Process Engineer is responsible for planning, and maintaining stable and capable production/business processes as they pertain to equipment, facilities and tooling functionality following the WCM model.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic drawings/specifications; working knowledge of low voltage power and applicable electrical codes.
Mitigates risk; aware of barriers or misalignments that could impact deployment success, through engaging leadership in the understanding of the issues and involvement in the risk management plan across the East Region.
Develops cost estimates for new equipment, consumable usage, perishable tooling usage, rework, and scrap for new programs. This will include interfacing with Dura process experts and outside suppliers.
In this role, the selected candidate will analyze, design, develop and document technical solutions using proper coding standards and development techniques; work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure timely deliverables.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with clients and manufacturing floor involved with thin material medical products such as condoms, medical balloons, balloon catheter, etc. involving extrusion, dip molding and other thin film fabrication techniques using plastic, silicone and rubber materials.
Lead the Design, Development, Validation and Release activities for Transmission Controls Hardware components including valve body, hydraulic routing, actuators, sensors, wiring etc. from concept through production.
