The Controller is a key strategic partner to the President of the Company. The Controller manages, leads and directs all finance and related business activities and provides information, primarily financial in nature, about all Company activities that will assist management and other users in making educated economic decisions about the Companys future.
Responsible for the overall operations of the accounting department including general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting, treasury and billing administration.
Develops forecasts and performs variance analysis between actual and forecasts to assist Project Management in decision making or other financial initiatives. Monitors, analyzes and reports on relevant purchase orders and material.
In this role, the selected candidate will work closely with the Executive team related to all areas of budgeting, forecasting and financing; assisting the Chief Administrative Officer in the selection and implementation of healthcare and other benefits programs.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist in creating a budget leadership will utilize in making company decisions; oversee daily/monthly accounting responsibilities; AP/AR, GL, Month/Year end, payroll, etc.
Responsible and accountable to lead, manage, support and provide direction to all staff within the department through effective goals/objectives setting, performance monitoring and reviews, communication, and the execution of on-the-job training and development plans.
Manage the timely and accurate preparation of a monthly reporting package; monitor, analyze, and prepare manufacturing variance analysis on monthly financial and operating results vs. budget and forecasts; and identify trends & improvement opportunities. Present financial reporting and potential risk areas to Senior Leadership.
The ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting for multiple plant facilities. This will include month-end close, financial statement preparation, standard costing, leading the annual budget process, variance analysis and capital expenditures.
