The GCM will, through research, innovation, analysis of customer (internal and external) inputs, competitor and industry sources (and any other methods necessary), and an understanding of organizational goals, develop effective commodity strategies and initiatives.
Serve as a strategic partner to technology business area(s) by promoting early procurement engagement and facilitating collaboration among cross-functional stakeholders and risk partners for vendor sourcing activities; develop effective working relationships with key decision makers/influencers, executives, and subject matter experts.
