In this role, the selected candidate will perform monthly and quarterly financial close tasks to ensure proper cut-off for revenue, assets, liabilities, and expenses; analyze financial data and generate financial reports for management.
This position requires continuous attention to detail, strongreconciliation skills, and a high level of analytical and interpersonal skills.Must also have strong time management and planning skills with the ability toprioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines.
The Staff Accountant's primary area of focus will be in the area of payroll and benefits accounting for all of business operations along with providing support to the Corporate general accounting group in other areas on an ad-hoc basis.
This position prepares routine and ad hoc management reporting useful for timely alerting of and correction of processing errors or significant operational changes/issues as well as plays a key role in accounting operations projects and process improvements.
Performs a variety of accounting activities to include, but not limited to, preparing and processing journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, tracking and reporting transactions, etc. for various general ledger accounts.
Produce accurate, profitable and timely Final Accounts for all programs. For each program, ensure maximum profitability is achieved through implementation of any existing and new internal procedures/policies and wherever appropriate, maximize returns through appropriate exchange rate use.
