The position will be responsible to insure Siemens Operating Companies are in compliance with transactional tax and business license (taxes) requirements while achieving assigned objectives and targets.
In this role, the selected candidate demonstrates thorough knowledge of and/or proven record of success in the area of corporate tax compliance, preferably within a global network of professional services firms, including consolidated filers with mutinational and multistate operations.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for tax filings (local, state, and federal), preparing and remitting payments, processing returns, preparing tax journal entries, tax research, tax depreciation paperwork, assisting with special projects, and more.
In this role, you will be responsible for aspects of the Payroll and Tax Compliance process. This includes researching and fully understanding new tax laws and regulations and sharing this information with internal partners, Service Delivery Managers, and our clients as appropriate and at the appropriate time.
In this role, the selected candidate will be developing Service Delivery Centers (SDCs) to perform routine tax activities that are high volume, low risk and non-client facing. The SDCs will focus on leveraging technology and standardized processes with a critical focus on efficiency.
