The Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, data processing infrastructures. Provides high-level technical support for data processing systems, creates and maintains data processing documentation, maintains hardware and software standards, and works projects as needed in order to upgrade to new and/or improved data processing equipment and procedures.
Perform system development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.
Drive identified major account opportunities (i.e. technical consulting, upper level management presentations, and Cisco technology solutions) while allowing assigned account team to maintain long-term ownership.
Produces technical specifications to match business requirements of low level complexity projects which may include report rating & minor enhancements. Develops, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, modifies and installs programs.
The Systems Engineer will work within a team responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, monitoring, maintenance and deployment of infrastructures and applications used to support GolfNows Development, QA, Staging and Production environments.
Collaborates with the Global Account Manager(s) on strategic and/or large and complex opportunities and coordinates additional resources (e.g. consulting specialists, demo labs, etc.) to recommend, develop, and propose appropriate customer solution and services offerings.
Candidate must have experience in radiometric EO analysis and simulation. Position requires operational knowledge of MATLAB, experience with running EO performance analysis simulations, and experience developing target models. The capability to conduct parametric studies to support advanced EO targeting sensor and seeker development is desired.
Work with Senior Engineers and the Business Class Leader to identify and develop specific technical expertise and will attend training and seminars focused on further development and understanding of complex concepts related to their discipline.
The Systems Engineers analyze the systems operational capabilities through modeling and simulation tools. Systems Engineers are also involved in integration, string testing, fielding and operational tests.
