In this role, the selected candidate will provide pharmaceutical care to Customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling Customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation.
he Pharmacist is responsible to provide age appropriate care in the utilization of specific equipment and dosage adjustment; prepare and dispense medications; design, recommend, monitor and evaluate patient-specific pharmacotherpy in accordance with protocol; and respond to requests for drug information from healthcare providers and patients.
The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.
