Role will include code development, data creation for test purposes, participating and contributing in end-to-end testing activities, debugging and diagnosing of testing activities, and providing support for code as it migrates toward and into production.
The Database Administrator II is responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, and overall troubleshooting and support of our MS SQL and mySQL databases, related application servers and appliances.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure compliance with all DOD standards, regulations, policies, and STIGS; provide direct technical guidance and client support; and other tasks as needed/as directed.
The selected candidate will provide database and production support for all SQL Server Databases ensuring database integrity, security and availability. The selected candidate will perform system monitoring, backups and restores, proactive database maintenance, database tuning and application of software patches.
