The REGISTERED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Document results of patient"s assessment, treatment, follow-up and termination of services.
Review the quality and appropriateness of the total services delivered and individual occupational therapy programs using predetermined criteria.
The Occupational Therapist provides diagnostic and therapeutic services & rehabilitation to patients to assist in obtaining their highest functional level of improvement for the performance of daily activities and regaining independence.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to patients in accordance with physician orders to improve/restore strength, coordination, range-of-motion and function or teach compensation measures.
Develop appropriate treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the patient and caregivers, implements the occupational therapy treatment plan, and completes all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services.
