The person hired for the position of Mechanical Engineer will primarily be responsible for providing technical leadership for new product and new technology development initiatives having significant business impact.

In this role, you will be responsible for
the hardware development for missile and/or fire control electronics and general packaging support. Activity will require cross functional coordination to complete hardware design effort to support hardware integration for the designed weapon system.
Mechanical engineer responsible for the conceptual and detail design and analysis of advanced hardware through the full product life cycle. Collaboratively work with individuals from complementary disciplines within the engineering, manufacturing and sub-contracts organizations.
In this role, you will work as a team with Engineering, Quality, Production and other support representatives, determine and select the most appropriate equipment (CNC mills, lathes, etc.), methods, processes, fixtures, gauges, and sequences of operations necessary to manufacture machined components and assemblies in meeting the requirements of the engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD models.
This position is responsible for validation of loads and boundary conditions of the wind turbine structure. Ensure best practices and lessons learned are shared across platforms to facilitate knowledge sharing and encourage collaboration.
In this role, you will prepare project layouts and construction plans; assists in the various design elements to complete a project, system, component, or system with other team members with clear and specified objectives involving conventional types of plans, surveys, investigations, structures, and/or equipment.
