The Data Visualization & Design (DVD) team is a group of data scientists, information designers, writers and user experience designers and developers who are passionate about telling stories with data and designing great experiences for technology users and consumers of information.
The Instructional Designer is responsible for leading the ongoing efforts of needs analysis, instructional design, curriculum development, and performance improvement solutions for the client Facilities and Operations Services Training Team.
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience using web-based tools, technologies, practices and web authoring software, HTML, and CSS to create web templates and style sheets, websites, content management systems and web features. Must be have demonstrated visual design skills to support web marketing activity such as banner ads, website graphics, e-newsletters.
Develop project plans, design documents, templates, layouts, queues, custom forms, reports and other project artifacts that align with the defined requirements and plan created during the implementation cycle.
Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative materials, copy, select style and size of type. Understanding of corporate branding, layout, color theory and typography in both digital and print media.
The Instructional Designer reports to the Chief Learning Officer and is responsible for identifying, developing, and writing educational content; this position will work in collaboration with the content development team when determining innovative designs and creating engaging curriculum.
The Divisional Designer will be responsible for the overall conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet marketing strategies and supports revenue driving goals of the organization.
