As a Sourcing Specialist for CFS (Construction and Facilities), you would be responsible for providing skilled assistance in the strategic sourcing of goods, equipment, and services for the district. Ability to handle district bidding including: contract negotiations; development of request for proposals, and implementation of supplier contracts and agreements.
Monitor the work of internal stakeholders to ensure that Weatherfords codes of ethics and compliance in procurement are upheld.Participate in the development of standard purchasing and sourcing operating procedures with minimal supervision.
Reviews operational execution of the shrink and safety programs, physical security standards, Sephora & Fine Jewelry operations, operational processes that impact shrink and compliance of company policies.
Manages day-to-day rate requests to support business objectives.
Manages and negotiates rail agreements, including freight contracts, railcar storage agreements and related accessorial service agreements.
The staff member must possess distinct skills in logistics management as it relates to the IO&T process; the nature of the project requires this position to fulfill a hybrid type role that bridges all logistics requirements.
Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiation teams on contractual issues, as needed while following legal regulations and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives.
Client communication, both verbally and in written form, must remain constant. This includes initiating internal communications regarding status of tasks, relevant technical issues discovered, status of engagement team work load, expected due dates, etc.
