The Senior Electrical Engineer must be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design from concept through delivery to higher level assemblies as evidenced by multiple successful design completions (including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces,such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, UART).
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be expected to manage all electrical and instrumentation aspects of a capital project. This includes developing and or managing the development of the conceptual and final design engineering packages, specifying and selecting all equipment and material for design and installation of the electrical, controls, communication, and instrumentation systems
The candidate will perform detailed part level obsolescence studies including generating Scientific and Technical Reports for Obsolescence Mitigation and Management Plan, Parts, Materials, and Processes (PMP) Risk Mitigation Strategy, Plastic Microcircuit Listing, formation of Parts Management Plans and delivering Source Data for Forecasting Program Results for customer obsolescence review.
Apply the clients standards, guidelines, specifications, practices and procedures or appropriate industry standards in preparing layouts of overhead and/or underground electric distribution facilities.
Manage field electrical construction projects involving various aggregate plant improvements, new plant installations, process improvement projects, automation and other electrical projects involving mineral resource handling and processing.
