The HR Service Center Manager is part of the shared services team and is responsible for managing and, at times, performing a variety of administrative and technical human resources activities in support of employees and managers and the Human Resources Centers of Excellence.
Manage all employee relations activities and the fair and consistent application of all corporate, local, state and federal policies. Maintain the awareness and compliance of all current and emerging labor law activity.
The Human Resources Manager position focuses on serving the needs, concerns and objectives of both managers and our employees through building effective partnerships and by creating trust and mutual respect. It leads the administration and implementation of Human Resources (HR) policies, programs and practices throughout the facility and acts as the liaison between the facility management and Regional/ Corporate HR.
This position is responsible for managing the applicant experience by facilitating interviews, the selection process, and onboarding. This includes assisting with workforce planning and determining viable candidate sourcing options.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading IT consulting services based purchasing categories and will be able to implement best practices in areas such as cost management and supplier relationship management.
In this role, you will ensure the integrity of the data in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and facilitate the use of the system by ensuring users are trained and information can be retrieved and manipulated efficiently.
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
In this role, you will participate in planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resources Department. The selected candidate will develop associate communications network within the hotel, via bulletin boards, department communication boards, posters and flyers.
Consult, coach and execute with the business to identify, develop and drive key human capital initiatives such as leadership development, succession planning, global talent acquisition, and rewards and recognition.
Responsible for ensuring proper use of forms, medical services and reporting standards to insurance company. Works with departmental management to ensure that Safety Training is alive and well in departmental meetings, stand up meetings, and in the consciousness of each hotel associate.
This position is responsible for helping the management team accomplish the different business goals via developing new systems, processes and people that make a positive contribution to the business plan.
The successful candidate will have a broad generalist based working with manufacturing, sales and other business support services. The ideal candidate will have strong initiative and the willingness to think outside of the box. Work involves a high level of decision making, initiative and independent judgment.
