The individual will design plans and specifications, calculate and prepare engineering documents for respective engineering disciplines, performing hydraulic analysis calculations and developing hydraulic profiles, and coordinating with CADD technicians for construction plan production.
Fatigue & Fracture engineering personnel are responsible for establishing structural component lives, inspection and replacement intervals, establishing structural testing requirements, providing telemetry monitoring support for flight test, and analyzing flight test data to ensure safety of flight and continued operational readiness.
Responsibilities include but not limited to engineering, designing, specifying, and procuring of specialized mechanical equipment and components used in projects involving twin screw extruder/dry bulk solids handling and processing equipment applications such as plastics, food and chemical production.
Develop, review, and approve SAS site mechanical specifications for UPW and process waste piping and equipment including materials of construction related, waste liquid tanks, and waste liquid pumps and lift stations.
During the design process, collaborate with design consultants, contractors and project stakeholders; coordinate and track design review comments to closure on design submittal documentation; administer the request for information (technical query) process, document decisions and support close-out of action items and issues through the document management system.
Provides required information to designers, project managers and customer management during all phases of construction services from proposal to operation of the equipment. Central responsibility is assisting in the development of a safe and cost effective design for equipment installation that meets the customer's requirements. Able to work under moderate supervision.
This individual will design water and wastewater treatment infrastructure projects for Central Texas Government Entities; responsibilities will include designing projects, independently creating layouts, completing detailed designs, plans, specifications and estimates for pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, tanks and other water and wastewater storage and conveyance systems.
Work collaboratively with a diverse team (department managers and supervisors, customer representatives, subject matter experts, instructional staff, program developers) to research, design, develop and implement effective training solutions.
