The Medical Technologist is responsible for the prompt, efficient, and accurate performance, validation and reporting of laboratory test results which are utilized for the purposes of prognosis, diagnosis, treatment, and research.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing and documenting all QC testing, instrument function and procedure reviews. Trains new personnel and students in procedures, equipment methodologies, maintenance, QC and guest relations.
In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks in all departments of the laboratory including blood bank, and microbiology; responsibilities include performing quality control, QC review, and troubleshooting, daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on a variety of equipment, and possible oversite responsibilities.
In this role, you will performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory, assists in instructing other personnel as assigned, and performs with a perceptive depth of clinical laboratory tests and procedures which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility.
In this role, you will perform and monitors a variety of laboratory testing and analysis; and assumes responsibility for problem resolution, quality control, and routine equipment maintenance with minimal supervision.
