The System Administrator requires a diverse set of skills to define application server solutions, troubleshoot interoperability issues, implement application monitoring, and support performance monitoring.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Work with enterprise architects, other architects and security specialists to ensure adequate security solutions throughout all IT systems to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Support and maintain the 3 Archer platform environments (Dev, UAT, Prod) through access provisioning, application version upgrades, maintain authoritative source content, application production support, datafeed support, workspace/iView creation.
Works with business unit teams and provides proper guidance to ensure integration services and architectures are designed, tested, documented, implemented, enhanced and maintained according to the operations standards and expected service quality.
Responsible for designing, implementing, and patching of the Linux/ Unix server infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to help develop automation strategies and deployment documented processes.
AWS experience deploying/supporting application stacks using CI/CD methodologies would be good; experience in Identity and Access Management space using tools/platforms to authenticate/authorize privileged access is preferred.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop remediation scripts to automate as much as possible; evaluate, test, and define configuration item stack for all hardware and software components within the architecture specific to Unix/Linux derivative operating system servers.
