Knowledge of web application security including DDos mititgation, WAF and OWASP reccomendations; strong experience with endpoint security, intrusion detection, firewalls and content filtering solutions.
The Incident Response Analyst would create appropriate documentation, processes, and response plans to identify security incidents, contain attacks, investigate intrusion vectors, eradicate infections, recover affected systems, disclose responsibly to stakeholders, and provide lessons learned to the enterprise.
Design, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of Infrastructure Systems and Services which include: Cloud Computing Environment, Virtualized Wintel/Solaris/Linux Environments, and foundational core services like AD, DNS, IPAM etc.
Manage, resolves and documents issues and events related to system and environment availability.
Learn new applications, Dell-specific technologies, system behavior and business processes as they relate to customer needs.
The engineer provides support for new innovations, projects, and standards development. Ensures adherence to defined VPN Engineering Processes and identifies and helps influence platform strategic direction in coordination with business user needs and direction thru previous resolved issues.
Provide security architecture and design consultations to product teams; architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security tools and services, in an individual and/or project leadership role.
Perform, on behalf of UL clients, code reviews and risk analysis of critical enterprise functions; follow up on the latest developments and contribute to the internal innovation in the cyber security area.
