The HRBP is responsible for driving HR philosophies and processes through the organization, and will be responsible for partnering with the management team to deliver HR solutions that meet company objectives and line of business goals.
Responsible for driving profit in the district through effective application of human resources activities; partnering with the District General Manager (DGM) and the district team, will act as liaison between employees, management and the HR function.
This position is responsible for the full scope of human resources activities including; staffing, training and development, compensation & benefits administration, project management, employee relations, employment laws and regulations, health & safety, as well as maintaining a union free work environment.
Work independently to resolve issues and provide solutions, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Serve as an expert to customers supporting company's most complex products / technologies.
To ensure an effective service is provided by the HR Services team to the business; ensuring employees have access to accurate and timely data, systems and information to enable self service, manual queries and work requests are responded to professionally and within predefined time frames.
Perform workers comp intake processing; support applicable employee leave of absence/return to work administration at facility level (advising employees on process, completing necessary onsite paperwork, etc.).
Support the line to manage a positive ER environment by identifying areas of weakness and making interventions to drive improvements. Encourage positive, meaningful connection between the line and team, facilitating employee engagement sessions as appropriate.
Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple leaders, managers, supervisors and employees within a complex business environment, including supporting multiple matrixed organizations with acquired businesses, union relations, or global footprints.
