The Commercial Contracts Specialist conducts the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of commercial contracts, reviews and approves contractual documents for protection of company's contractual posture, satisfaction of business and applicable legal requirements, and adherence to company policies. They also advise personnel at all levels of the company of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
Acts as the purchasing authority in contracting with vendors using defined technical specifications, quality and performance metrics, and delivery requirements provided from Supply Chain Management and/or entity Project Managers.
Responsible for reviewing and approving contracts for sale and purchase include negotiating specifications and contractual provisions. Aids in the preparation of contractual provisions and contract proposals.
