The Import Compliance Manager will serve as Elbit Systems of Americas top-level import professional, providing substantive expertise on all customs-related matters, and will lead enterprise-wide initiatives to enhance compliance with all applicable trade laws and regulations.
Ensures that the facilitys Quality System is established and maintained in compliance with applicable local ordinances, State statutes and Federal regulations, and other laws, including Title 21 CFR 820 (FDA Quality System Regulation), Canadian Food and Drug Regulations, Division 2 Part C, International Standard ISO (11663, 13958, 13959).
Candidate will demonstrate successful strong interpersonal and organizational skills along with excellent written and verbal communication capabilities. Strict attention to detail and follow-through actions are critical. Confidentiality is a must as this position works with personally identifiable information. This is a high exposure position and the candidate will need to be able to communicate effectively with all levels of BD associates. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be process oriented with history of driving continuous improvement.
Work with external and internal auditors to ensure compliance with applicable security controls, regulations, and standards;represent internal controls to external auditors to ensure IaaS attains certification levels required.
The position ensures the Board of Directors, management and employees are in compliance with the rules, goals and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the company's Management System.
Support the launch of a new data governance structure for Schwabs fundamental data platform leveraging best practices for capturing metadata and educating personnel on the governance applications, processes and procedures.
In this role, the selected candidate will review and evaluate internal control systems and policies and procedures and help implement corrective actions; participate as a controls consultant in company strategic initiatives or projects.
