In this role, you will be responsible for collection and entry of data, documentation of continuing education of professional staff, curriculum updates, and preparation of program review and annual plan.
In this role, you will work in collaboration with the Department Head or CNO to identify educational needs of staff in the specialty area, to develop programs to meet these needs, and evaluate outcomes. Orients new staff, trains and serves as a mentor for preceptors, assures competency validation of new staff and facilitates annual competency validation updates. Teaches the Periop 101 course as needed.
The primary responsibility of the role is to include: departmental specific needs assessment, development of educational goals and objectives, implementation methods, evaluation measures and instruction of educational activities.
In this role, you will be responsible for designs, develops and/or delivers training to address identified needs or gaps in performance or knowledge. Trainings will support patients, physicians,and health care providers by providing recurrent, tactical, customer service and client specific programs which could be delivered through a variety of mediums to support the business need (classroom, webcasts, etc.).
The clinical educator develops, implements, and evaluates a comprehensive plan for meeting the educational needs of the assigned service in order to provide educational support to the administration, staff and patients.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation and evaluation of educational programs, in-service education and orientation for nursing personnel within the nursing units.
In collaboration with the Manager, the RN Clinical Educator will work to facilitate the nursing practice and quality of patient care by assessing, identifying, and implementing, evidence based practice plans.
In this role, you will complete all required administrative responsibilities in a timely manner. Some of these could include but are not limited to daily computer updates, weekly summary of activity reports, emails and monthly expense reports.
The RN Clinical Educator will work to facilitate the nursing practice and quality of patient care by assessing, identifying, and implementing, evidence based practice plans. The scope of practice encompasses the use of the nursing process in 5 major areas: practice, education, consultation, research and administration.
In this role, you will serve as a change agent at the organizational, facility and department level. Facilitates the initiation of, adoption of, and adaptation to change and influences the necessary policies and procedures.
