This position is also responsible for reporting to company directors and officers on the status of projected sales; evaluate data related to the overall results of the market sales operation and take appropriate action to correct or improve sales performance.
Identify and qualify prospects, create call plans and track progress in Salesforce, conduct outbound sales calls (cold and warm calling), hold in-person prospect meetings, obtain needed information to generate presentations and create value centric sales pitches, negotiate and close deals/contracts.
Responsible for establishing the overall focus, vision, development and implementation of the regional business plan and ensuring the regional business plan is aligned with FleetPrides overall strategy.
The Regional Sales Director coordinates and functionally supervises all activities relating to the sale of all company services through relationships with accounts and through independent insurance, tax, and other financial professionals (Providers) who provide professional services to business clients of all sizes.
This Director participates in the cultivation and stewardship of executive relationships, ensuring margins, revenue and customer satisfaction metrics continue to increase within the pharmaceutical distribution (supply chain) and IDS Consultative Services channels.
