The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for various components of the monthly billing and collection of Premiums and other fees of the company and remission of those billings to the appropriate companies.
In this role, you will review monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts, including documentation. The selected candidate will participate in development and detailed review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
Prepares accurate and timely financial reports, researches issues/questions related to federal and non-federal awards/other billing activities, and communicates information to management in a timely and effective basis.
Collaborate with Division/Market colleagues, Controllers/Consolidations, Treasury, Legal and Corporate Tax on strategic projects and process improvements. Involvement will require problem solving, communication, presentation and analytical skills.
Responsible for timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations and cost accounting. Works closely with the Assistant Controller with the preparation of the cost report and tax return work papers. Supports and assist the Assistant Controller with special projects and other duties assigned.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations as well as analyze account variances; work with business partners to ensure that open/outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner.
