Quality and EHS management experience and knowledge in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier is required. Appropriate skills and knowledge include TS16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, internal auditing, third-party audit coordination, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, statistically designed experiments, customer complaint investigations, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and all related EHS standards, tools and practices.
Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures and progress reports, in order to inform management of current status or work activities.
The Quality Manager will be responsible for driving and promoting a system to assure that all products sold/manufactured to meet customer specifications, contractual and program quality and reliability requirements.
Write and maintain Quality Procedures, to include Work Instructions and SOP updates. Ensure the Quality functional requirements are compliant with corporate procedures as well as industry standards and regulations.
In this role, the selected candidate will assureaccurate testing, reporting and monitoring of product safety and quality; lead development and implementation of plant GMP, hygiene and sanitation programs.
The position is also responsible for Document control, Quality assurance activities, such as corrective action / preventative action (CAPA), quality management team (QMT) meetings, quality related Training and Audits.
Collaborate with production, purchasing and suppliers to ensure right raw material, services and finished products quality; to maintain the Total Quality Management system and third-party certifications by ensuring the compliance with all site procedures.
