Responsible for coordinating the resources of personnel, supplies, and equipment. Responsible for supervising members of the patient care team. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or college/university program.
Integrates research-based practice, with physician approval/supervision, into the nursing unit. Networks with other centers in order to increase his/her knowledge of practices in other areas across the country.
Provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Admission, preparation, recovery, and d/c of all surgical, special procedure, endoscopy, and therapeutic block patients.
