Provide advanced BCM development and implementation of procedures that align with the University of Rochester BCM related policies for information systems; acquire knowledge about business applications and employing/enhancing analytical skills through project exposure and working with the users to clarify their needs/requirements.
Designs and develops specifications of varying complexity, dependent on experience, from which complete sets of programs can be written. This may include any/all of the following: documentation of program descriptions, functions and interfaces.
Previous experience with customer enrollment data and workflows including the acceptance and processing of enrollment files from the NY State of Health, Maximus and Dept of Social Services (Roster processing).
Serves as technical and subject matter expert for initiatives involving the end to end life cycle of customer touch points, including web, phone/IVR, social media and traditional correspondence channels.
The scope of the role includes working with key business stakeholders to interpret business needs and issues, translate them into actionable requirements, participate in design activities, configure software and reports, develop test scenarios and participate in testing, implementation activities including training, and providing post-implementation support.
Elicit and document requirements using a variety of methods including interviews, document analysis, requirements gathering meetings, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, user stories, business analysis, and task / workflow analysis.
