Acts as an intermediary between the business community and the technical community, working with IT project teams and the business to collect, clarify, analyze, translate and document business requirements (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed to meet deliverables, stakeholders needs and corporate objectives.
Conduct supplier evaluations as required to confirm the presence of a robust quality system, process control/capability, capacity needs and lean manufacturing; participate on new product introduction and/or acquisition teams.
This position is responsible for all processes related to the maintenance of production data, the production of timely and accurate reports, generation of various financial, production and profitability related analysis.
The scope of the role includes working with key business stakeholders to interpret business needs and issues, translate them into actionable requirements, participate in design activities, configure software and reports, develop test scenarios and participate in testing, implementation activities including training, and providing post - implementation support.
Interpret design specifications and create finite element models of complex components and assemblies for structural analysis. Analyze the models for stress, strain, displacement, modes, etc at both component and assembly levels.
Identifies effective solutions to operational issues transaction processing business information etc. Documents, edits and reviews requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
