Support a general manager-level executive in critical strategic and operational decisions through analysis and communications support;represent and/or partner with the executive in select internal, cross-functional and/or external customer meetings.
Managing all aspects of civil construction projects such as roadways, bridges, underground utilities, earthwork, concrete foundations and flat work. Successful candidate will also have working knowledge of water pipelines, paving, underground substation, sewage and drainage. Coordinate, schedule and supervise field activities as the Project Manager, ensuring profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction through quality and value. May be responsible for more than one project at a time.
Assembles project plans and teamwork assignments, measures and monitors work efforts on a daily basis, identifies resource needs, performs quality reviews; and escalates functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
Define and execute an overall program plan, including financial and people resources that allows the program to scale appropriately in each stage to meet program objectives and remain within budget. Drives the program's progress, reconfirming the program's value proposition at each stage, and recommending the progression (or elimination) of the program at each stage to leadership, as appropriate.
The SPM adheres to the established project management methodology and standards set out by the PMO, while carrying out responsibilities. This includes applying project management and development and delivery lifecycle processes to complex information technology projects and ensuring alignment with IT standards and strategies.
Work with project team members to solve difficult mechanical engineering and process equipment related problems, resolve project related issues, and develop fundamental understanding of process and equipment design requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will build Readiness meeting transition from sales to operations, define/answer "what did we sell, establish "how to provision, identify obstacles (ITS - IMC; Network - MPLS/NBR; HV - DB).
